Baby Quilt for Grandchild

I finally finished a baby quilt for my latest grandchild.  He is now three months old, but oh, well, better late than never.  Right?  It is a scrap quilt made it from thirties reproduction fabric.  I love the cheerful colors of the thirties line.  Here’s a picture after it was quilted and the edges trimmed, but before I sewed the binding on.

New quilt for a new grandchild.

Here’s a close up.

This is the Bowtie pattern.

Thanks for looking.  🙂

It’s beautiful! I’m sure he will treasure it always. Quilts are a generational bond…timeless in sentiment, although time will tatter it, that will only serve to increase its value. ♥

Thanks, Naomi. I’ve made baby quilts for the three older of John’s boys and “boy” quilts for the two older. I can’t seem to keep up with all of them. !!!!

  3. What a wonderful gift of ‘love’ for your grandchildren. Beautiful.
