Did You Join the Lose-A-Pound-A-Week Club?

It was April 10th when I posted about joining the lose-a-pound-a-week “club.”  I’ve been faithful with working on the treadmill and also doing some other exercises.  I’ve been successful at keeping to my resolve not to eat junk food.  As a result, I’ve lost eight pounds and a bit over.  Doesn’t seem like much, does it?  BUT–I’m eating normal meals, losing it slowly by changing my eating habits.  No fad diets for me ever again.  That way it will stay off and not jump back on me when I get within breathing distance of food.

    Does post partum weight loss count? I’ve been losing about a pound a week by not being at work with junk food constantly in the kitchen, by eating more prudently, and by nursing. Still another 20 lbs to go before I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Next time I’m not going to listen to those who press food on me, telling me I’m eating for two!
